AZ Metals was founded by Doug and Jill Cone in January 2011. This family owned and operated metal supply company serves residential, commercial and industrial metal needs alike.
Doug has been in the metal industry since 1983. He started out as a metal stacker and held various positions throughout the years including plant manager and metal franchise owner. Jill, a retired R.N., changed career paths after 21 years in the medical industry. In 2008, she joined Doug to finish a 10 year franchise agreement, and in 2011 AZ Metals was born.
Our metal supply service center offers convenient delivery or shop and go. Deliveries are made daily throughout the East Valley and beyond. When you are searching for a metal supplier nearby, you will find that the selection at AZ Metals is extensive! Our customers always come first, and we will do everything we can to get you the metals you need. In addition, our metal for sale is lower priced than home improvement stores, and all orders are cut to size, making us a valuable resource for builders, landscapers, repair and maintenance departments, fabricators, DIYers, and the local handyman.
We have two shears: Our Cincinnati 1810 mechanical squaring shear has the ability to shear 26 GA through 1/4" up to 10' lengths. Our second shear is a Pexto Model 12U52 mechanical squaring shear with the ability to shear 12 GA x 52” capacity.
